The platform transforming how students learn across Africa
Ganzaa is an interactive learning platform designed for students from primary 1 through high school. We make it easy for students to revise their school lessons at home through curriculum-aligned content, gamified practices, and AI-powered daily recommendations.
Parents stay connected through real-time progress tracking and smart notifications. Teachers extend their impact beyond the classroom. And students discover that learning can be as exciting as their favourite game. Ganzaa bridges the gap between school and home so that no child studies alone and no parent is left guessing.
To empower every family by making quality education accessible, interactive, and connected. We bridge the gap between classroom and home so that no child revises alone and no parent is left in the dark about their child's academic progress.
A world where every child, regardless of location or background, has a personal learning companion that makes studying joyful, effective, and supported by the people who care about them most: their parents, teachers, and community.

It all began when I watched my younger sister struggle with her schoolwork at home. She was in Primary 5, a bright and curious girl who wanted to learn but had no way to revise what she studied in class. At home, our parents and siblings wanted to help, but we simply didn't know what topics she had covered, what methods her teachers used, or where she was falling behind. We were disconnected from her learning journey, and she was left to figure it out on her own.
As a senior software developer who had worked on various international projects and national education initiatives, I knew technology could bridge this gap. I saw the same problem everywhere: children spending hours on social media and games after school while their lessons faded from memory. Parents wanted to be involved but had no tools to track or support their child's progress. Teachers had no way to extend learning beyond the classroom walls.
So I built a prototype for my sister. Interactive lessons that matched her school curriculum. Practices that felt like games. Progress tracking that our family could actually see. And something remarkable happened: she loved it. She started revising voluntarily. Her confidence grew. Her grades improved. For the first time, our family could see exactly what she was learning and celebrate her progress together.
I knew this wasn't just our family's problem. Together with a team of experienced developers and educators, I created Ganzaa.org to solve this challenge at scale. What started as a solution for one student has grown into a platform used by schools across Rwanda and East Africa. Teachers assign interactive content aligned to their curriculum. Students revise through engaging practices and earn rewards. Parents receive notifications, track progress, and finally feel connected to their child's education.
Today, schools using Ganzaa report measurable improvement in student understanding, lesson retention, and overall confidence. Students who once struggled now look forward to learning. Parents who once felt helpless are now active partners in their children's academic journey. And it all started with one sister who just needed a better way to study at home.
